Starting out at the age of 15, Eric worked for the Newark Weekly Post in Newark, Delaware, shooting sports, news and feature assignments. Two of his photo essays won NPPA honors making him the youngest to date to ever win the awards. In his junior year of high school Eric was named the State of Delaware’s high school news paper photographer of the year and in his senior year he began shooting for the Philadelphia Inquirer and then went on to shoot for the Philadelphia Bulletins Delaware edition.
Looking to expand his talents Eric next was hired by the Univ. of Delaware where the photography assignments were more complex and required location lighting and large format cameras for quality reproduction in publications. While working as a photojournalist and for the University, Eric began accepting corporate and commercial assignments as well as shooting corporate events. Today editorial assignments, aerial shoots and location business portraits make up the bulk of Eric’s work. Assignments have taken hi around the world, across the US and his local region of the Mid Atlantic on the East coast.
Working out of his studio in Delaware near Dover Air Force Base, Eric’s years of experience and personal approach have made him a favorite, whether on assignment at the White House or shooting an editorial magazine assignments. Eric believes that the service that comes with each job is as important as the photography and that is his work ethic incorporated into each assignment.
